I'm using XP Pro SP2.
Is there a way that I can change the column widths in the right hand pane of Explorer (so that I can see all of the filename) for all folders EXCLUDING the "My Pictures" folder? I use the "detail" view in all folders except "My Pictures" where I use thumbnails. I have used Tweak UI and have moved the "My Pictures" so that the path to it is just C:\My Pictures (same for My Documents & My Videos). Thanks |

Simply, put your mouse pointer over the column dividing line in the column
header, when the arrow turns to a vertical bar with a double ended arrow pointing left and right, left click and hold as you drag the column width to your desired size. This will also move any of them to the right, so, you may have to play with it to get what you want. Or, you can right click in the particular column of your choice, select "More" from the list of options, highlight your desired column name and set the pixel width in the box at the bottom. Heirloom, old and probably other ways "Lorraine W" <ltw@?_telus.net> wrote in message news:eZYiK0aEGHA.272@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > I'm using XP Pro SP2. > > Is there a way that I can change the column widths in the right hand > pane of Explorer (so that I can see all of the filename) for all > folders EXCLUDING the "My Pictures" folder? Yes, I'm aware of those ways of changing the width. I asked about
changing all folders at once except for "My Pictures" (I don't want to do this for each folder as I have many hundreds of them) "Heirloom" <roland58XX@XXcox.net> wrote in message news:OU0zcabEGHA.336@TK2MSFTNGP14.phx.gbl... | Simply, put your mouse pointer over the column dividing line in the column | header, when the arrow turns to a vertical bar with a double ended arrow | pointing left and right, left click and hold as you drag the column width to | your desired size.
