How can I make Explorer open folder windows open in the same position and
at the same size on the desktop? For ages they did, but now they always open in some "default" size and position Thanks for any advice -- Will Cornish of Cardigan, UK filthy-mcnasty at bigfoot dot com No nastier than you; No filthier than usual |

Hi
If you mean Windows Explorer - drag the window to the size you want it and then position it. Close that window via File>Close. -- Will Denny MS MVP Windows Shell/User Please reply to the News Groups "Filthy McNasty" <filthy-mcnasty@here.now> wrote in message news:Xns973E932724E06filthymcnastybigfoot@207.46.2 48.16... > How can I make Explorer open folder windows open in the same position and > at the same size on the desktop? Can't find any reference Thanks though. On with the game -- Will Cornish of Cardigan, UK filthy-mcnasty at bigfoot dot com No nastier than you; No filthier than usual |

Be sure to close all other windows first. Then do what Will Denny said.
