Hi All. Having a bit of a problem with windows XP. I keeps experiencing this
problem too. I know for a fact that windows xp can display a resolution that my vid card supports. Which is like 2000x something. However, It will only go up to like 1300xsomethin 80 for somereason when i know if i can disable auto detect and use of plug n play monitors i can use that resolution. I had this problem in Windows 98SE as well, and I was able to solve that by simply checking the do not detect plug and play monitors box sadly that simople solution has been taken away. How do I solve my issue? Thanks in advance! |

What video card and driver revision are you using?
Even though my LCD display and a seperate monitor report PNP info, I can over-ride it in the video card driver advanced setup area. In the past, I've used KVM switches that blocked the PNP monitor detection.
