ive tried to play runescape, but everytime i go to the site it says that it
has an unkown publisher and that it cant find the digital signature. i trust
this site and have been playing it on an older computer for years. what do i
do to allow it to run?

It sounds like your Internet settings in IE are working properly. :-)

If you trust a site enough to run software from that site, you should
add that website to your Trusted sites list by clicking:
Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites > Sites...
Uncheck require server verification> type in the name of the site
Click OK
