Just a bit of a recommendation for you - if you're interested in advice and you can just throw the advice away if you'd like - but you shouldn't spam. This is, really, an unsolicited and unwanted and off-topic newsgroup post with the intent of advertising your site. It's a great idea and probably a very nice site but, well, I'm willing to bet that you've been reported by now. I'm not going to, I hope that no one has. Normally I would if it was something that had happened a second time. Anyhow, I give this advice with the best interests. I figure if you want a big gaming site then you should probably be aware that you risk losing it and as you move to a new host you risk dropping in the engine rankings. There's legitimate places - in fact I keep a forum with a spam section and a place where people can recommend links of the day which are reviewed for awards and those drive a bit of traffic as well as get better linkage. There's a million other such places online and they're free and all that but they require a bit of work but that's probably worth it if you're hoping to "make it big." -- Galen - MS MVP - Windows (Shell/User & IE) http://dts-l.org/ "My life is spent in one long effort to escape from the commonplaces of existence." - Sherlock Holmes |
