Default Trying to get older game to play on XP

I have MechWarrior 2 (31st Century Combat) from when I had my other computer
that used Win95. I installed the game and ran the compatibility wizard and
tried different settings but to no avail haven't been able to get it to work
yet. All it does when I click on "Play" is it changes screen like it is going
to start then jumps right back to my desktop with no error messages. Any
suggestions? I tried looking for patches and other things on the web but
didnt find anything. Thanks

I found a few things on here that said to check for the following files in
Windows\System32 and they are there.
Config.nt
Autoexec.nt
Command.com

So dont know where to go from here.

Hi Giranger,

The Mech Warrior 2 community has come up with a solution for that.
