the sims 2

I have a SiS 650_740 display adapter on my computer, and it won't support
directx 9.0c, which I need in order to play the Sims 2. What can I do?

You're going to need to buy a new graphics card. 8-(

Although the first thing to probably do would be to ensure the rest of your
system meets the requirements for the game, you can find out things like
your CPU speed and the amount of memory by going through the guide at
http://www.windowsresource.net/guides/hardware.php

If you post them back here, then in theory we should be able to work out
what type of graphics card you need, or if you'd need some extra hardware
too.
