many games run in “exclusive” full screen mode, and they present a problem
with logical firewalls such as Norton or ZoneAlarm. How can I force a game to run in a window? |

Hi TRD,
Some games will accept CTRL+Enter or ALT+Enter to toggle between Full Screen <> Window mode, other games require a switch to be added to the shortcut for the program i.e.: c:\proga~1\game\game.exe -window You might be able to grant access rights to the executable before launching the game somewhere within the application settings applet of your firewall, otherwise, press ALT+TAB when you launch the game to tab to desktop. -- Cheers, *Windows_XP_MVP_Shell/User* Jimmy S. http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Visit my MSN Zone.com and Gaming Help Site: http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits MS Games Help and Support Center: http://support.microsoft.com/?pr=gms My advice is donated "AS IS" without warranty; nor do I confer any rights. __________________________________________________ _______ TRD Wrote: ================= | many games run in "exclusive" full screen mode, and they present a problem | with logical firewalls such as Norton or ZoneAlarm.
