Hello my current hard drive has alot of bad sectors on it,is it possible to
copy it onto another hard drive so i don't lose all of my informaion? |

The ideal solution would be to back up the hard drive on to another hard drive, external hard drive or other media by copying the files. Making a disk image would be less desirable since a sector-by-sector copy may also include imaging any bad sectors. |

It is going south, so don't wait. Note that some harddrives have manufacturer's warrantees of a year while others up to three years. If your drive is less than three years old and has gone belly up and there is a warrantee, get the manufacturer to replace it. |
