After configuring XP Pro (all Crit. Updates included) to go into standby
after 15 min, the system does not go into standby. Manual standby is working fine by using Shutdown/StandBy or the Suspend Key. Turning off monitor is working fine too according the power schema. I tried to identify what process is probably resetting the idle counter. But this was not successfull until now. Has somebody any idea how the system can be analyzed and how the problem can be fixed? There are registry keys for it, which can be configured additional to the power schema definition? H. Edgar |
