When I open My Pictures folder I get an error message that says, Windows
Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. This has just started happening in the last week. When I switch from thumbnails to icons, I no longer get the error message. Also, my graphics for my desktop wallpaper have disappeared. Can anyone explain what the problem is and what I can do about it? I am a scrapbooker and use My Pictures a lot, so I would be so thankful for help. -- Flowerlady |

The problem is likely caused by a one of your "pictures" being
corrupted. Try moving 1/2 of them to a different folder and see if the problem is resolved. If not move 1/2 of what is left into a different folder and try again. You will eventually narrow it down to the particular file that is causing the "thumbnail" image problem.
