I have used auto update and manual to download and install sp2. however i get
the following error " error updating " and the whole thing stops. have done
this 6 times and still get the problem.

i have closed down
norton 2006
anti spy (microsoft)
and all the other stuff i can.

i have also done a full virus scan and run 2 diffrent spy ware programes.
also down loaded new drivers for my pc and installed them all.

the pc has xp pro with sp1

could you be more specific on the error, such as copying from the event log?
