Did you ever resolve this issue? I have been having the same problem with a
new Zen Nano Plus. Like you, I worked with Creative and determined the issue
must be with Windows XP. The one item left to try is to reinstall
usbstor.inf drivers from the original XP disk. But I am curious if you
solved the problem.
