I just learned that security patches will not be supplied for Win XP Home
after Dec 31 later this year. I just bought XP Home last May. This sucks. I guess I am gonna have to think harder about leaving Windows for, oh, maybe the Penguin???? I hope lots of XP Home users join me in griping about this. |

Too bad you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Why
should anyone complain about what isn't happening? Please don't add any more BS to the load you already delivered. fred wrote: > I just learned that security patches will not be supplied for Win XP Home > after Dec 31 later this year. Actually, Microsoft will be providing a major update next year for Windows XP when it backports major components from the upcoming Windows Vista operating system back to Windows XP [if all goes as planned]. As well, a version of the upcoming Internet Explorer 7 will be made available for Windows XP customers. |
