Hi Frank
I had an exactly similar problem (although I wasn't shopping for victorias secret) in that various buttons and links with which there was a javascript association had failed to function for some time. I went through your list and everything seems fine now. I'm afraid I deviated a little from your suggested order but I tried suggestion 5a first and found that the third party browser extension had been checked (not by me, however). This did not, however, rectify matters. Neither did steps 1, 2a or 2b. However after registering the mshtml.dll file as shown in step 3, all links and buttons worked fine once again. Nevertheless, I did find that I was unable to register the file oleaut.dll and received a failure message with a return code of 0x80070005. Any suggestions? Many thanks for your help so far Kilbane |

I don't know what the problem with oleaut.dll was, other than it should be oleaut32.dll, but if things are working now that's fine. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE Please respond in Newsgroup.
