If you can't clean the system, I would use the Files and Settings Transfer
Wizard to save the files and settings to a recordable CD/DVD (if you have a
disc writer) and then format and reinstall XP, followed by a restoration of
the files and settings and you software programs.

With backup media so cheap and easy to use I can't understand why people are
still getting caught like this.
