Hi everyone,
I hope someone has some ideas here... I'm at a public library and we have computers available for anyone who walks in. Our computers run Windows XP Pro SP2 and the resolution is set at 1024x768. Our users speak many different languages and we get visitors from all over the place. We have installed the supplemental language support for right-to-left and East Asian languages to allow our users to view web pages & documents in their native languages. We would also like to install the ability for our users to type in their native languages. We tried adding all the available input languages on one of our computers (what a fun task since they need to be installed one by one!) but the list of languages from the taskbar icon or the language bar does not scroll or wrap so only the last 35 languages in the list can be selected. We were logged in as an Administrator user at the time with no security software activated so that is not the problem. Since our user base is so varied, it would be very difficult to narrow down the list of input languages to 35 and I'm sure whatever language we decided to leave off, would be the language that someone needed! Does anyone have any ideas on how we can get the list of input languages to wrap or scroll so our users can select from all of the languages? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! |
