With respect to IE6, Word, Access there are no error messages and the event viewer says that the application is running. Have not checked for any Malware or anything else as I did not wanted to get some feedback to try to identify the problem first. How would you recommend to check for Malware? That should be a regular maintenance task. Here are some more links on that. Can they be run or not? If no .exe files can be run one option is to run the .exe file fix from Doug Knox' site: http://www.dougknox.com/ XP Fixes File Association Fixes EXE File Association Fix (Restore default association for EXE files) -- Rock MS MVP Windows - Shell/User |
