If so the default password for the built in Administrator account is blank. To access it boot into safe mode by restarting the computer then as the BIOS screen disappears repeatedly tap the F8 key. Choose safe mode from the advanced options menu. The administrator account should now be visible on the welcome screen. Assume the password is blank. If none of that works you can use this to get by the passwords: Offline NT Password & Registry Editor http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/ Best though, with a system like that, to do a clean install of the OS. You don't know what nasties are left on it. -- Rock MS MVP Windows - Shell/User |
