When trying to install almost any application from CD or HD Im redirected to
an install program hidden on my HD. It seems that my video driver takes preference over any other install. Process started seems to be an older 16bit application _ins5176._mp that envokes wowexec.exe and related 16 bit sub-tasks. Im using a newly acquired Packard Bell notebook model EasyNote C3261. The initial install was performed by the seller using the supplied XP, driver and application CDs. Can anyone help me stop this setup/install redirect? Thanks in advance -- lohse |
