We are on a server setup, 9 people, and recently I was in "computer name"
attempting to correct a name when I switched-experimenting- the domain to workgroup and clicked okay. Of course, it said to restart, it did, and then when the logon screen comes up, low and behold, my password does not work. Any ideas on how to fix this? I cannot get into windows at all. I'm on XP. My pc was on administrator title in the domain function. Everyone else has the title workgroup in Workgroup. I spoke with my lead IT and it even stumped him. Thanks in advance. |

You have to logon as a local administrator account and sysperep the PC. Then as a Domain adminstrator, while running the Mini Setup Wizard, add the PC back into the Domain. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html http://www.ik-cs.com/got-a-virus.htm |
