I posted this on the Outlook Express newsgroup but received no solution on
how to fix this. New desktop computer. Created a Limited account with Windows XP. Using Outlook Express v6, I can receive eMails, but I can't Create Mail, Forward or Reply any eMails. Whenever I try any of those things I get one or two of the following messages : 1. "There was an error opening this message. An error has occurred." AND/OR 2. "The Address Book failed to load. Outlook Express is incorrectly configured, please re-install." I tried MS kb#811151. Didn't work. I tried to do what E-mail Troubleshooter says, but I don't have an Original Windows XP CD, only a Restore CD that came with the puter. So I copied wab32.dll from Owner (Adinistrator) account. Didn't work. If I switch users and come back to Limited, all three of those windows (Create, Forward, Reply) are there ! If I switch from Limited to Administrator & change the Limited back to Administrator, I can Create , Forward & Reply. When I switch it back to Limited, I can NOT do those things again. How can I fix this ? I can do all those things with a Limited Account on my laptop. Thanks. .......Al |
