This prior posting might resolve your Briefcase issue: If so, you can thank
Ramesh. "You need to enable the "Enable Dragging and Dropping" Option in your start menu properties. Follow these steps: Classic Start Menu: Right-click Taskbar, Properties, click Start Menu tab, choose Customize Enable the option "Enable Dragging and Dropping." For New Start Menu: Right-click Taskbar, Properties, click Start Menu tab, choose Customize Click "Advanced" tab and enable the option "Enable Dragging and Dropping." -- Ramesh, Microsoft MVP Windows XP Shell/User Windows XP Troubleshooting http://www.winhelponline.com "Leanin' Cedar" <Nospam@nospam.org> wrote in message news:u%23MxyZVDGHA.2704@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > 1. Thank you for the fast response. My bag is ready to be packed. Got a new
notebook and 1GB thumbdrive and this is probably the easiest way to synch files.
