Recently, there is a permanent white straight horizontal line exactly at the
centre of my PC's screen (extreme left to right). While rebooting the PC initially two crossed line can be seen but vertical line disappears along with main desktop screen but another horizontal one remains there even if I open other programme windows. Horizontal line is in front of mouse cursor but vertical one is behind, no response on clicking line. These lines are permanent and remain there even if I reboot the machine several times. I am not sure how such problem arose, however last night, I tried to edit my word file using Track Changes option that might be one reason. Now, there is no problem with word files but PDF files were set automatically into continuous page view options. I restored the system back to yesterday but line is still there. I want to get rid off this problem, please suggest. |

I want to get rid off this problem, please suggest. I assume you have an LCD screen and I suspect that it has blown a driver transistor. The problem has most likely nothing to do with Windows. |

Thanks for your prompt response.
Yes I have LCD screen. Does it mean, better to consult hardware experts or any other solutions?
