For about a month now the Norton nag screen pops up when I am right in
the middle of doing anything. It tells me that Norton is about to expire and click here to renew. |

Better still dump Norton and get the free AVG and Zone Alarm.

Its in the registry. Symantec's removal programs do not remove it.
The renewal is for autoupdates, not the program itself. The program will still run without a renewal. AV definitions and other updates are not incorporated once the renewal expiration date has passed. The "nag" is there for your own protection. -- Jonny <electrician@electrician.com> wrote in message news:1135904605.672125.68800@f14g2000cwb.googlegro ups.com... > For about a month now the Norton nag screen pops up when I am right in > the middle of doing anything.
