i have 3 questions:

(1) how can i know how dos windows firewall protect my computer from
internet thearts? actually i want to know is any way to test windows firewall?

(3) i Haven’t receive and notification from windows firewall about blocks or
unblocks an programs that are currently exist in windows firewall exceptions
tab. is this ture? (Display a notification when windows firewall blocks q
program checked)

(2) how dos work Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool when i download and
install from windows update website?

1. You can test it at www.grc.com among other places.

3. It's a one time use item. It runs once at installation. If no
problems detected then it gives no messages.

i have check www.grc.com to looking for test my windows firewall. i have
found and download "LeakTest" application form them. after run say" Firewall
Penetrated!
LeakTest WAS ABLE to connect to, the main GRC.COM Web Server!"|
hos dos windows firewall help to protect my computer???!!!

Didn't you read the info on the page? The Windows XP SP2 firewall only
protects against intrusions, not from programs within the OS calling out
which is what leaktest does. A 3rd party firewall that monitors both
inbound and outbound traffic is otherwise needed.
