Default Error 1327.Invalid Drive

I get this error message when trying to install a new program (Canon EOS
Solution disk). I also got the same message when trying to uninstall Norton
Antivirus.

I connected a drive G: to copy some files from an old disk. This drive in no
removed, but it is obviously causing some problems.

Do anyone know how to fix this?

Yes, the drive is removed. It was an extra harddisk from wich I transferd
some data.

When trying to install new programs, or removing a program, I get this error
message, and the installation fails.

There is no more info to give. However the link You gave me helped. I used
regedit to replace all refferences to the removed disk.

Thanks.
