Default Annoying message

I just installed a printer software so that my laptop could print off the
printer in the main office hooked up to my desktop.
Everything went well except that when I open windows every day now there is
an annoying little message on the taskbar that says Windows will not open
this driver (CD Direct) because it will cause the windows to become
unstable. Now I checked the HP printer disc and I don't see CD Direct on
there anywhere. I mainly installed the printer for the drivers to be able to
use the printer off my laptop. The printer runs perfectly but that little
message is quite annoying.
Help

Tried that but since the notebook computer is a Sony they say they cannot
help me. I tried contacting Sony and they tell me to contact Roxio who makes
CD Direct. I contacted Roxio online site and downloaded a patch which gave
me the error message that the software required for this patch was not found
on my computer.
