Default ADOBE fails

I don't know if this is the correct newsgroup for this question - direct me
otherwise as appropriate. Lately, when I download a pdf, ADOBE hangs up.. If
I get a fresh download of 7.0, it doesnot help. I tried using pdffactory, but
it doesn't open up downloads automatically like ADOBE, it is to be used off
PRINT MENU which means first you have to open the pdf file to print it and I
just don't get how to use this. ADOBE was easy, if you see a file on the web
you want to view, you select it and ADOBE displays it automatically, I don't
understand READERS any more than that.

The other problem I have - might be linked to this ADOBE problem. All of a
sudden, recently, I have been getting an error message when I restart my
computer. when BELLSOUTH INTERNET SECURITY loads, it displays a message:
PACKETDRIVER doesnot have a complete registry entry [ENUM]. This indicates a
failed installation. REinstalling the program should correct the problem
DETAILS: Rwin2kPackethandler determine possible DRIVERLOADING issues
CREATEFILE returned invalid_handle_value ACROBAT READER

BELLSOUTH told me this is a WINDOWS issue, not a BELLSOUTH issue.
