Its a message from your PNP monitor. It means the monitor cannot handle one
or both of the horizontal (H) or vertical (V) refresh rates. In your case, its probably the horizontal rate. You change refresh rates by right clicking the main XP screen. Select settings. Select advanced. Select adapter. Select refresh rate. Only a generalized refresh rate will be displayed. Select a value less than one already selected. You may have to reboot in some cases. -- Jonny "Maggie" <Maggie@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2A05E949-7B4E-4894-BDAA-100FDB76BE68@microsoft.com... > When I initially boot my PC I have started receiving a small red box with the > writing: > ATTENTION > SIGNAL FREQUENCY > IS OUT OF RANGE > > H: 94.0KHZ > V: 75.0HZ > > PLEASE CHANGE > SIGNAL TIMING > > Hw do I change the signal timing? > -- > Maggie |
