WMP10 inaccessible to other user accounts

Hi and happy 2006 to everybody,

I use a Dell 2.53GHz/256MB RAM machine with WindowsXP SP2.

Until recently, all three user acounts on this computer (I am the
administrator) could readily access WMP10. However now, only I have
access. The other users find an error message stating that 'an internal

application error has occurred' when attempts are made to start WMP10.

However, the Event Viewer provides no record of an application error at

the time access was attempted.

Even when I upgrade the status of the other user accounts to
Administrator, no improvement is made to the ability to start WMP10.

Has anybody any idea what may have gone wrong and how I can get rid of
this problem?
