I got this personal response from an anonymous person:
There is a program called AutoStreamer which is used to create SlipStreamed CD's If your restore disks contain at least one disk that has the install setup inclluding the i386 folder, then yes, you should be able to use it for slip streaming. I forget all the details, but the program is fairly simple to use. I've done this myself already on more than one occassion. But if you use an upgrade CD to create the slipstreamed disc, then you end up having to call Microsoft or your computer manufacturer for a new CD key as the old one won't work. This only applies to slipstream disks created using an upgrade CD though. === "Computers make it easier to do a lot of things, but most of the things they make it easier to do don't need to be done." -- Andy Rooney _________________________________________ Usenet Zone Free Binaries Usenet Server More than 140,000 groups Unlimited download http://www.usenetzone.com to open account |
