Default is there a way to track crash causes?

I have two programs that are SUPPOSED to interact with each other.
They are Amateur Radio programs.
Once controls the radio parameters and the other logs the activities.

I keep getting crashes, I can't find any activities that cause it or can I
find a way to stop it.

The lockups or complete shutdown/reboot are random time spans.

I do NOT get any error messages.

So is there a way that I can get the technical details of what happened so
that I can track down the cause?

Something like the old Dr. Watson???

Please and thank you.

Hi,

Start/run eventvwr.msc and check the system and application logs.

Default RE: is there a way to track crash causes?

Boot into F8 Safe Mode options Menu.
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA Mode
Last Known Good Configuration
directorty Services Restore Mode
Debugging Mode
Disable auto restart on system failure

Start Windows Normally
Reboot
Return to OS Choices Menu

Choose "Disable auto restart on system failure".

See if that helps.
