Default Server technology...

I currently use Macromedia to edit my website. Each time I make changes to a
page, I have to be online and upload my files to the site in order to see how
they'll look once they go live.

I have been told that I can use XP home as a server, so that I can work on
my website offline for later online upload.

Can anyone tell me how to go about setting up my system so that I can do
this??

Thanks

A few options here
Seeing how you like Macromedia software, why not use Macromedia's Contribute
for Web Management.
Use Preview in web browser to see what the altered web page looks like.
To set XP up as a web server you need web server software.
