I just installed a XPS 600 and it has a constant grinding noise that never
stops. It is a sound very much like the sound a hard drive makes when it is
reading something.
What should I do?

Check for something that shifted during the transport process (on my PC, a
120mm cooling fan at the back had come loose, and was rattling round inside
the case).

Open the case and listen to found out what's making the noise, then
troubleshoot accordingly.
