Default windows defrag

I recently installed Diskeeper on my OS. I did not like the program so I
uninstalled it. It seems to me that Diskeeper took over my Windows XP defrag
program and when I uninstalled It also uninstalled Window defrag. Any
suggestions as to where I can download Window XP defrager. I do not have the
disk that came with my OS.

Use Explorer*, Navigate to C:\Windows\Inf
Right Click the file Dfrg.Inf and from the Context Menu, Left Click
"Install"
* - Explorer natively hides protected OS files. To view you'll need
to Change View options to unhide OS files, Hidden & System.

This info was somewhat usefull..My defrag now appears in the start menu but
when I click on it I get a error message "snap-in failed". also gives me the
CLSID with filename unknown. Other suggestions would be appriecated.

OK - Thanks for the follow-up. This means that the Registry association
with Defrag is "Fractured". Registry work is always a risk. If you have
only had Diskeeper on for a short while, you might be better served to
do a System Restore back to a pre-Diskeeper state.

Run the registry edit on line 291 left side.
