Default Hard Drive Problems

While trying to delete all files on an external hard drive, one folder would
not delete. A message kept saying that the file was in use and could not be
deleted, the folder contained MP3's that were not being played. It would not
let me re-format the disk as well. I couldn't remove the file on a MAC
either, so I just erased the disk on the MAC and now my computer will not
recognice it. How can I get my computer to recognize my external hard drive?

Run diskmgmt.msc via the Start / Run box, then create
an NTFS partition on your external disk.
