We are using Windows XP home. We are not able to access the My pictures
directory, with any application. When we try to access the directory, the application we are using shuts down. |

Try right clicking on a picture file and
selecting "open with" , then select windows picture and fax viewer. -- God Bless The USA ! We can not get into the directory to do that. As soon as we go into the
directory, the application shuts dow. Restart the computer in Safe Mode. After the Power On Self Test (POST), press and hold the F8 key. See if you can access the "My pictures" folder now. If yes, create two new folders and move 1/2 of the files to each new folder. Restart normally, and try to access the two new folders. Repeat until you narrow down which file caused the problem, then delete it. |
