My Microsoft optical mouse jumps to edge of screen at odd intervals.
No probs with logitech, even on W95.

You anti-MS bias is showing. I have sold many hundreds of both brands. I've
had to replace two or three. They were all Logitech. The sample is so small
compared to how many they manufacturer that all my experience really shows
is that they are both pretty good. I use both daily and don't prefer one
over the other. I don't install the software for either but use the built in
drivers in XP.

I'm sold on optical mice. Good thing the old school mice are obsolete. I
do use a file folder tho for a mouse pad for my optical. When it gets
dirty, I just refold it.
