IE will open and render only https pages. For http pages, it just hangs
without any messages or timeouts and never renders a page. I'm currently
using the MSN browser with no problems but would like to go back to IE.

I'm current on all Microsoft Windows XP maintenance. Last maintenance was
KB891781, KB905915, KB910437 .
