when i try to use the hibernation feature the following errors occur;
1. It usually requires me to click hibernation (from the start menu) more
trhan once to achieve the hibernation state.[prior to this "success" the
computer simply restarts itself after shutdown.]
2. Whenever hibernation is achieved the computer will restart on its own.
This may happen a few minutes or several hours after the computer enters
hibernation.

Although the hibernation feature is not essential to me it sometimes is
useful. However I have discontinued using the hibernation feature out of fear
that my problem is caused by an undetected virus or spyware program that is
allowing others to see information on my computer.

I would be grateful to anyone who can help me resolve this problem.
