How can I stop this display? I have followed advice for similar problems,
net. framework is installed, I have also used StartupCPL but cannot identify any entry that I could delete. -- DaveW |

Carried out the regedit instructions.
Closed system then restarted. Everything now as normal. No display of Microsoft folder. Many thanks for your help in cracking this problem. I did not associate Microsoft Works update with a display of the folder containing Synctoy.
