Default RE: deleted program

I don't know why, but my message didn't show up...here it is.
I accidentally deleted a program from add/delete and it is not in my recycle
bin. Is there any way to recover it? I do not have the original software and
it drives my voice activation program. HELP!!!!!!!!!

Default RE: deleted program

Uninstalled components do not go to the Recycle Bin.
Start>run>type SFC /SCANNOW (space between C and /)>Enter
Have your WindowsXP CD handy in case it asks for it, or Browse to
the i386 directory on your harddrive. SFC = System File Checker
It will replace corrupt or missing system files.

The odds are slim that you can recover it and have it work. It's not
only files that are removed but entries for it in the registry. If you
have a recent restore point you might be able to go back to that to
restore the lost registry entries. If you can then recover all the
installed files in tact with a data recovery program it might work. The
odds are not good. First thing though, for data recovery, is to stop
using the computer until after you try data recovery.

Here are some programs for it:

Executive Software “Undelete”:

You must've been trained by Carey Frisch, right?
