I have a small network with three computers. This morning I realized that
one of them(A) still had the workgroup MSHOME specified. So I changed it to the same as the other two machines(B, C), "PMD" - it told me I had to reboot and I did. After it had rebooted, I went to network places and browsed machines in the workgroup. It showed the two other machines(B and C). This seemed correct, although I didn't see the machine I was on(A) listed, but I didn't think much of it. Went to the other machine(B) and also browsed the workgroup from network places, I didn't see A listed. Even though I changed A to be a part of the "PMD" workgroup, it wasn't showing up. I have confirmed that machine A is indeed using the PMD workgroup. I can ping all the machines from one another, so it's not the connection. On Machine B I tried adding the 2 shared printers connected to machine A and in the Add Printer Wizard, it still shows the printers as being part of "MSHOME"?!?! There is no MSHOME anymore. I have gremlins, how do I clean all this out? I hope this makes sense. Thanks, Steve Klett |

I have never used the wizard before, but if it works... well, cool! Thanks again for the post, Steve |
