I have a dell computer and my monitor keeps going off. The green button keeps
flashing and after shaking wires and waiting, it will come back on again. Any suggestions on what it can be. I had my brother up the other day and he said that all wires are secure. Thanks so much, Valerie |

Broken wire inside the cable? Replace the cable to see if that fixes the
problem. -- | +-- Julian | "Valerie" <Valerie@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2C0D7487-A142-4005-8B2F-D476F7B46382@microsoft.com... >I have a dell computer and my monitor keeps going off. actuall the problem may be a setting in the computer, shaking the wire
possibly just moves the mouse. go to start>control panel>power options> where it says turn off monitor, change it to never, hit ok, and you are all set, if all else fails, replace the wire "Valerie" wrote: > I have a dell computer and my monitor keeps going off.
