When I select the "Home/Office Desk" option in Power Options, the Scheduler
fails to run when the XP system enters Standby. When I re-activate the machine, I get reports of "Missed Tasks" because the Scheduler failed to run. I am using a brand new XP machine - less than 2 weeks old. Any ideas on a fix? Thanks, Henry |

Right click one of the tasks that was missed and select Properties. Click on the Settings tab. Put a check mark in the box next to "Wake the computer to run this task". Do the same for the other tasks that were reported as missed. Nepatsfan |
