When running a Mcafee scan the laptop shuts off completely before the scan is

It's likely a combination of Hibernate settings.
I have an old HP laptop that would go into hibernate, and even shutdown if the BIOS settings and windows settings were not set up correctly. it does it when playing games too, it did it a lot when i played The Sims
