the following files are missing;
File c:\windows\system32\wnaspi32.dll does not exist File c:\windows\system\winaspi.dll does not exist File c:\windows\system32\drivers\aspi32.sys does not exist File c:\windows\system\wowpost.exe does not exist how do I get them? |

Explorer is showing the drive as DVD/CDRW, but under properties of hardware, it

If you're comfortable with Registry work, navigate to
HKey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\I DE When you expand that key, you should see your optical drive listed in the indented field. Click the drive and then proceed to the Device Parameters sub-key. You should find a key called "Writing Device" - check that the key value is set to 1. The Device Parameters is subbed under the first key after the ID string of the device, like 5&1b4cde65g....
