Well, I realize that...I have tried that and it doesn't work. For some
reason, my Dell Quickset is no longer on my computer. I do not know of an alternate way to adjust my brightness. Fn + up arrow doesn't work for me. Those instructions will be in the manual that came with the laptop. Earlier, you didn't mention the model/brand of your laptop.Every laptop
is different therefore adjusting the brightness on your laptop may vary.Best option is to go through the manual of your laptop. Regarding Dell Quickset:- http://tinyurl.com/cdsjh regards, S.Sengupta[MS-MVP] Karie wrote: > Well, I realize that...I have tried that and it doesn't work. I have a Dell Inspiron B130 and I have searched through and through the
owner's manual...with no luck. Any other advice? =( "Bruce Chambers" wrote: > Karie wrote: > > Ok...this may be a dumb question, but my laptop brightness is very low and I > > cannot figure out how to adjust it. Please help! That was extremely helpful! I was able to install the driver and got Quickset
back! Thanks! However, now that I can use the Fn+up arrow....it will not even adjust the brightness....the screen just remains the same. Any ideas?? My laptop is brand new...the monitor has been very dark from day one. If you can't adjust brightness from the keyboard then it seems to be a
LCD problem. As your computer is a brand new one so it must be under the warranty.Just contact Dell. regards, S.Sengupta[MS-MVP] Karie wrote: > That was extremely helpful!
