So which one is worse? cheating or spying? I think Lanwench addressed it
best. TMF!! This is a peer support newsgroup where people come for technical
information, not a lecture. If the person asked how to log his email
activity to see if it was being abused they would get the same information.
The OP's transgression was giving TMI.

Spying. Two wrongs don't make a right. Suppose he shoots her, how will you all feel then? Suppose she divorces him for spying and she has not been expressing her love for men. Suppose he beats her up every night (his attitude is a bit sus) and she is merely seeking emotional support.

It is an offensive post I think.

So do I, and why I said Lanwence addressed it best. TOO MUCH INFORMATION.
This is a peer support newsgroup not a place to pass judgment, I didn't
reply to the OP, I replied to you, with a 8-). Some people answer the
questions without passing judgment. Some don't answer if they don't want to
judge. But everyone is entitled to their opinion and you are very much
entitled to yours.

Not unless the emails are kept, and if she's clever enough to compact the
email data file after deleting emails... More difficult, assuming your using
Outlook or Outlook Express.

DougC, it is indeed stifling when a relationship reaches a point when one in
it no longer wants to be involved, leaving the other in complete shock. It
makes one realise that in this world nothing belongs to us. Confusion will
turn to anger and depression, then behold, convalescence and the new person
emerges. Why have a book DougC, when there are libraries, anyway that's the
future for you.

Are you an Administrator on the system? You should be able to reach in and
grab yourself a copy of the her email data file and check it out. Even
easier if you share it.

True, but depending on what E-mail client was used, it's highly
likely that "sent" messages can be recovered. I'm assuming, of
course that hubby has admin priveleges...

Spying on her is not the answer. If she is commiting the crime of going
behind your back, why commit a similar crime? If you are caught she can
claim abuse etc. etc.

You two have trust and fidelity issues and need to see a ***good*** marriage
counsellor .. pronto.

Good point. I said to go see a marriage counsellor. But upon reflection, I
realize it is none of my business. I should have just answered the question
or moved on.
